Ellie Stubley

Ellie launched Law Talks with Katie in January 2021, when she was a second year Biomedical Science student. She aspires to become a barrister and is currently in her third year studying Law at the University of Oxford.

Katie Davies

Katie is a Future Trainee Solicitor at a Magic Circle firm, currently pursuing her LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1&2) at the University of Law. Katie launched Law Talks with Ellie in January 2021, when she was a second year History, Politics and Economics student at UCL.

Law Talks Team

Law Talks currently has a team of 9 individuals, who work in a variety of different roles and ensure that Law Talks continues to produce relevant and interesting legal content.

Ellie Stubley

Ellie is a third year law student at the University of Oxford. She has a previous BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Birmingham, where she first discovered her aspiration to become a barrister. Ellie hosts Law Talks' episodes, organising the meetings and interviewing guests. As Director of Law Talks she organises each season’s publishing and content calendar.

Ammarah Ahmed

Ammarah is a future Law and International Relations student at SOAS University of London starting in September. Formerly an IB student, she is passionate about law, social justice, and diplomacy. With a diverse background as a British National with Australian citizenship, she is particularly excited to contribute to the field of law and share her insights as she joins the podcast community.

Maddison Johnson

Maddi has recently received 4 offers for Law and an interview from Oxford after completing the LNAT earlier this year. She is currently studying towards her final year of A-Levels to achieve these offers alongside other endeavours such as being a participant on Clifford Chance’s ACCESS and also working with Law Talks!

Social Media Marketing Intern

Beulah Bediako

Beulah is currently a first-year undergraduate theology student at the university of exeter. She is passionate about law and specifically interested in Intellectual Property law. Beulah is currently in her second year at ACCESS clifford chance where she has gained her initial insight into the career. She has worked on various campaigns such as the Halo Code aiming to end hair discrimination in schools and workplaces.

Law Talks' Article Interns produce weekly articles that are published on Linked In. The article topics focus on recent legal developments and each intern chooses a topic that personally interests them.

Alice Forsyth

Alice is studying the LPC alongside working as a paralegal. Prior to completing the PGDL in May 2022, she had studied History and Politics at University of York and spent 10 months travelling around South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Outside of law, she enjoys swimming with her local team and watching football on the weekends

Chloe Bloor

Chloe is entering the third year of her law degree. She is currently working as a paralegal at her local law centre, where she has found a passion for social welfare law. Advocating for the rights of people who are at a disadvantage is very important to Chloe.

Robyn is a second year LLB Law student at the University of Plymouth and an aspiring solicitor. She has a strong interest in Family Law and Immigration Law - which are areas she is hoping to pursue during her career. She is excited to start her position at Law Talks as an Article Intern and share her legal interests with others.

Stella is an aspiring commercial solicitor and she is currently studying an LLM Law Conversion at BPP Law School. She recently completed her integrated master’s in Physics and Physical Chemistry from UCL.

Dhevina Maaran

Dhevina is a recent Durham University law graduate, and an aspiring trainee solicitor. She is currently undertaking the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London. She has developed her commercial law knowledge through her vacation scheme experience with a US-based law firm, where she further developed practical legal skills.

Archie Rankin

Archie Rankin is a penultimate year History & Politics student at Queen Mary University of London whilst working in the House of Commons. Archie is also Acting Director of the Centre for Corruption Research and Reporting at the Sixteenth Council. In this role, he leads the Centre’s efforts to uncover, analyze, and combat corruption worldwide, fostering transparency and accountability through cutting-edge research and impactful reporting. Drawing on his experience in Westminster, Whitehall, and Washington, Archie brings a unique perspective to global governance and embedding futures into institutional decision making.
