This is 5 hour course designed for practitioners who either have not made a Lasting Power of Attorney before or wish for a refresher course on current legislation and practice.

It is a practical course taking you through all the steps required to make and register a Lasting Power of Attorney.

This course addresses the many problems and pitfalls frequently encountered, examines drafting  restrictions and conditions, together with avoiding negligence.

The course also goes through how to make a mental capacity assessment.

This course may also be run over two days, with the second day using role-play to simulate interviews and capacity assessments.
